New Elevator Pitch: Iowa Board of Medicine Telephone Conference on MOL

Just to remind readers, the Iowa Board of Medicine (IBM) has rescheduled our telephone conference, this time for tomorrow, August 30, 2013 to discuss my opposition to Maintenance of Licensure (MOL). I made a few slides (see below) with talking points because the schedule for the public portion of the IBM meeting will again be especially tight.

You’ll notice that in one slide I point out that the IBM web site is the only one I’ve found so far which seems to unequivocally support the implementation pilot projects for MOL. If MOL ever does get implemented, then Iowa will be sort of a number one player. Right now it’s a bit lonely at the top.

If you have any ideas about how to improve my elevator pitch, I would be more than happy to hear your suggestions by noon, August 30, 2013.
