This is just a shout-out for this coming Friday, February 13, 2015 (the day before Valentine’s Day) Gold Humanism Honor Society (GHHS) Solidarity Day for Compassionate Patient Care, which was established by a U.S. Senate resolution in 2013 as a day officially recognized on our calendar.
This is a day for medical students and anyone else involved in patient care to participate in the “Tell Me More” program by asking patients the following questions:
What are your strengths?
How would your friends describe you?
What has been most meaningful to you?
We could do this all year round, but let’s do it in a big way this week.
